5 YOGA MOVES that will help beat CRAVINGS



Yoga is a physical, mental, and spiritual practice or discipline. There are a variety of schools, practices and goals in Hinduism, Buddhism (including Vajrayana and Tibetan Buddhism and Jainism.The best-known are Hatha yoga and Raja yoga.



1. Breath of Fire Move : WHY This posture wakes you up and pumps oxygen-rich blood through the system.



2. Goddess Move : WHY This tones the lower body and builds mental strength.



3. Goddess Twist Move: WHY This stretches the back and shoulders and gently twists the spine.



4a. Crow Pose - Step 1 : WHY This pose helps builds core strength as well as mental resilience.



4b. Crow Pose - Step 2 : Bend your arms to create a shelf and rest your knees on the back of them. Pull your navel gently to your spine to activate your core and pull up your pelvic floor. Stay here or take flight by lifting one set of toes off the ground, then the other. Try to stay longer each time and aim to straighten your arms.



5. Low plank : WHY This tones the arms, abdomen and legs and builds mental resilience.
