IMA(Indian Medical Association) a Pan-India organization demanded to remove a derogatory scene from AKSHAY KUMAR'S Movie "Gabbar is Back".
IMA(Indian Medical Association) has sent a video clipping to all those doctors who are the members (approx 3 lacs) of it to boycott AKSHAY KUMAR'S Movie "Gabbar is Back" as there is a derogatory, bad, disrespect scenes in it which could insult all the doctors.
IMA(Indian Medical Association) has also sent a letter to Minister of Information and Broadcasting, Arun Jaitley, demanding him to remove the scene, where doctors treating the person who is already "dead". The IMA organization has sent this clipping to all its 3 lac members to stop the movie which is insulting them.
IMA(Indian Medical Association) also mentioned that such kind of scenes in the movie would create wrong awareness among the people and would also add fuel to the fire. IMA(Indian Medical Association) also made it clear that if no proper action is taken on such kind of movies, they are going to protest against the Censor board.
Dr K K Aggarwal, honorary secretary-general of IMA, said the movie "Gabbar is Back" had portrayed the medical profession in an unrealistic, inappropriate and disrespectful manner. “The hero of the movie is already aware that the patient is dead and carrying a death certificate but he approaches the hospital as if the patient is alive,” he said.
