The marriage was held in a Hindu traditional tribal ritual.PK Jayalakshmi who's age is 30 has married a farmer Anil Kumar, aged 36 who is a grandnephew of brides father Kunhaman.
The marriage of PK Jayalakshmi who is a minister for Welfare of scheduled tribes & Youth affairs, was held at her ancestral place Mambayil near Valadu in Wayanad.
Chief Minister of Kerala Oommen Chandy, Opposition leader Achutanandhan and many other cabinet leaders and politicians were joined in the wedding of PK Jayalakshmi.
PK Jaylakshmi dressed up in green wedding silk saree touched the feet of Chief Minister of Kerala Oommen Chandy, Opposition leader Achutanandhan and sought their blessings.
The Bride groom CA Anil Kumar in white wedding dress tied a Mangalasutra around the neck of PK jayalakshmi and exchanged the Jasmine garlands while the wedding views and relatives showered the blessings. A grand wedding feast was also arranged for all the visitors, relatives, guests at the wedding location itself.
