A Police case has been registered against Mahatma Gandhi's great grand son named, Tushar Gandhi for allegedly making offensive remarks on freedom fighter "Bhagat Singh".
A case has been filed against "Tushar Gandhi(Mahatma's great grandson)" under IPC (Indian Penal Code) Section 295 (A) (deliberate and malicious acts, intended to outrage religious feelings of any class). This complaint was given by the chairman of an NGO Jan Jagriti Manch, Kishan Lal," Bimal Kant, Inspector at Jalandhar Police Commisionerate, said on Sunday.
Mr.Tushar Gandhi while speaking to media in Jaipur, called "Bhagat Singh" the guilty of British rule for which Mahatma Gandhi had not asked the British for the suspension of the sentense.
The NGO had submitted a memorandum to the Police Commisionerate to take a strict action against Mr. Tushar gandhi for his offensive remarks about the freedom fighter.
