TWO MORE EARTH QUAKE HIT NEPAL @ 12:35PM, TREMORS NOTICED TILL CHENNAI, INDIA.
Two more earth quakes struck Nepal & Afghanistan, one measuring 7.4 magnitude on rector scale of Nepal epicenter and the other earth quake measuring 6.4 magnitude in Afghanistan and also some parts of North India observed the tremors, which created huge panic among the people.
A strong earth quake shook in Nepal, made people in the Nepal's capital city Kathmandu, to rush towards the streets and roads after an earth quake which had devastated Nepal and killed more than 8000 people and flattened 1000's of houses.
The US Geological Survey said that the earth quake had a magnitude of 7.4 and struck 68 km west of the town of Namche Bazar, close to Mount Everest. Tremors were also felt in southern China, Pakistan and Afghanistan.
The earth quake's epicenter is very near to Mount Everest base camp. This epicenter has been evacuated since the occurrence of Himalayan avalanche dates April 25th which killed more than 20 climbers. Mountaineers who are eager to scale the world's highest mountain peak, are called off for this year's everest's season.
Tremors were noticed in most parts of North India till Chennai. Buildings swayed for a minute and people rushed towards the streets.
Hon'ble Home Minister Rajnath Singh told reporters in New Delhi that the government is prepared. "There is no need to panic. The National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) is on the alert," he said.
